I received my MFA in Playwriting from the Playwrights Lab at Hollins University as well as a BFA in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College and a certificate in theatre performance from the Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA). Between undergrad and my graduate studies, I spent ten years in Germany teaching, performing, creating/directing original theatre, having children, doing stand up comedy, playing the accordion, writing novels & plays and generally enjoying life abroad.
Since returning to the States, I've continued to work with emerging artists, helping them find their path as a singer, actor or writer while acting as Business Manager of a multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art performing arts center in California and teaching theatre history at the Pacific Conservatory Theatre/Allan Hancock College. Recently I began my PhD in Theatre History & Playwriting through the Interdisciplinary Arts dept at Ohio University. I find my life to be full of wonderful people, experiences and never, ever boring!
